Publications

Reflexive Actuation Technology for Robust Autonomous Flight Control

Authors: Rhoe A. Thompson, Paul R. Mackin, Alec W. Letsinger, J. Sean Humbert

Journal: AIAA, 2024

This paper presents a novel approach to leveraging distributed sensing to reject disturbances instantaneously improving the robustness of autonomous flight control systems.

Cartesian blind spot correction using two non-equal Risley elements

Authors: Joshua K. Lentz, Alec W. Letsinger

Conference: Appl. Opt. 60, G49-G54, 2021

This paper presents a method for removing the Cartesian blind spot of a Risley prism based optical beam steering system at the expense of introducting an angular blindspot.
